Standing at the platforms in Funabori Station of Toei Shijuku Line, you could see a tall white tower in front of you. It is the Observatory on Tower Hall Funabori. The hall was designed as a ferryboat for the citizens in Edogawaku and the observatory looks like the mast of the ferryboat. From the 115 meters tall observatory, visitors could see not only Skyscrapers of Tokyo but also Boso Peninsula and Kanto Plain, and they could also see Mt. Fuji beautifully in fine days. It is an especially beautiful view that Mt. Fuji is standing on the left side of Tokyo Tower in the evening. The night views of Tokyo seen from Tower Hall Funabori is very active, thousands of head lights on cars are moving on the highway running along Arakawa River in front of scattered lights of Skyscrapers of Tokyo. The observatory on Tower Hall Funabori is a wonderful place to enjoy seeing the exciting views of Tokyo. Why don’t you visit the observatory?

The elevator to the observatory floor is operated from 9:00 to 21:30. But it will be suspended in the stormy weather and so on.
