The Events and Flowers in February
The most popular event of in February is Setsubun. In February 3rd, the Setsubun Festivals are held in Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, Funabashi Daijingu Shrine, Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine and Mamasan Guhoji Temple and so on and thousands of people visit and enjoy the festivals. And February 10th, Jomane (the completion ceremoy of the grand asceticism of Nichiren Sect) is held in Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, and families and supporters of the priests attending the asceticism wait them at the temple. Moreover, it is time to plum blossoms blooming, some plum trees in front of Hokkedo in Hokekyoji and an old plum tree in Onjuin have many beautiful blossoms in February. And some Kawazu Sakura start to bloom, too.
