November is the season of Tori no Ichi (the Cock Fair) in Edo. The fair tells how people in Edo communicated to others. The fair is held in Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, too, it is called 'Nakayama Tori no Ichi'. Moreover, the temple has other events in November. One is the entrance ceremony of the Grand Asceticism Of Nichiren Sect in November 1st. It is the first day of the 100 days training. Over 100 of priests attend to train themselves from this day, so many of their family members, relatives and supporters come to see off. And another one is the antique market opened in it in the middle of November. In addition, Kikkaten (the Exhibition of Chrysanthemums) are held in Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine in Yawata and Zenyoji Temple in Koiwa from the middle of October to the middle of November. Both spots have the national natural properties 'Senbon Icho' and 'Yoko no Matsu' in them, and visitors could enjoy see the flowers and the gigant properties. And roses are blooming, colorful maple leaves and golden gingko leaves are sparkling under the blue sky in November.
