The principle image of it is the statue of the sitting Dainichi Nyorai.
And there is a statue of Kannon Bosatsu as a koshinto tower beside the
entrance of this temple.
■The statue of Kannon Bosatsu as the koshinto tower scribed '寛文8年銘 (built
in )' on it registered as the cultural asset of Edogawaku
The Kannon Bosatsu has a kohai like a surfboard with scribing letters '奉待庚申結衆三尸教祈願成就二世安楽所 (the group of Koshin believing in Sanshi pray for completing happy in this life and future)'. Sanshi is from Taoism in China, it is believed that the sanshi lives in a human body and it goes out of the body whne he / she is sleeping and goes to the god in heaven to tell his / her sins in every sixty day called a Koshin day in Chinese calendar. People did not sleep at night in Koshin Day to avoid the sanshis going out of them. In
Edo period, the principle image of Koshin belief was generally Shomen Kongo carved on the surface of the tower since the god fights against evils. But Amida, Jizo and Kannon were on in early Edo period.
