Spring in 2023 is coming. Some kind of cherry trees blooming in some noted spots in Ichikawashi and Edogawaku. This page presents some information of the blooming cherry blossoms in the landmarks such as Nakayama Hokekyoji, Mamagawa River, Mamasan, Shinkawa River, Komatsugawa Senbon Sakura Park. Apr 5 2023, Yaezakura Blossoms have been blooming in Edogawaku.
April 5th of 2023, the typical sakura blossoms have been falling down in Edogawaku. But there are some other sakura blossoms that look like roses have been blooming in the area. In Funabori Sports Park, both Shinkawa and Komatsugawa Senbon Sakura Park and near Hiraibashi Bridge across Kyunakagawa, many Yaezakura Blossoms have been blooming beautifully. March 28th of 2023, Someiyoshino Sakura Blossoms in Funabori Sprots Park have began falling dawn. The sakura blossoms in Komatsugawa Senbonsakura Koen and Ichinoe Sakaigawa Water Park have fully bloomed. But the blossoms on the north bank along Shinkawa River and in Komyoji Temple have some buds on their branches, so visitors could enjoy seeing the sakura blossoms until this weekend.

March 27th of 2023, Someiyoshino Sakura Blossoms in Nakayama Hokekyoji and the branch temples around it had fully bloomed, but there are not so many patals on the ground. And the sakura blossoms along Mamagawa River also fully bloomed but there are not many patals on the water. The blossoms in Orihime Jinja are simmilar to them. Until this weekend, visitors could enjoy seeing patals falling down.

March 24th of 2023, Sakura Blossoms in Funabori and Kasai Areas have benn beautifully blooming. The Sakura Blossoms in Funabori Sports Park are alomost fully blooming, but the sakura trees in Komyoji Temple and Ichinoe Sakaigawa Water Park next to the sports park have almost 30% of blossoms have been blooming. Along Shinkawa River, Oshima Sakura Blossoms have fully bloomed, the Someiyoshino Sakura trees on the north shore have almost 30% of blossoms and on the south have a half of blossoms. The Sakura trees along the way on between the Flower Garden to Nagisa Park were different, so some have almost fully bloomed, but some has less then 30% of its blossoms. On this weekend, it was not good news that the weather forcast told that it would be cold, but it could be very good news for Sakura Blossoms since they could keep the beautiful patals.
Mar 22 2023, the information of Sakura Blossoms in Funabori and Kasai Areas
March 22nd of 2023, the weather forcasts told that Someiyoshino Sakura Blossoms in the central part of Tokyo had full bloomed. However, the Sakura Blossoms in Funabori and Kasai have not, most of the sakura trees have less than 30 % of blossoms today. Actually, they are in Funabori Sports Park have more flowers, but they are in Ichinoe Sakaigawa Water Park and Komyoji Temple next to the park have not. The play ground in Gyosen Park has some trees have more blossoms, but they are in Ukita Park has not. Moreover, almost a half of Ooshima Sakura blossoms along Shinkawa River, along the road connecting the Flower Garden to Nagisa Park, and in Shinsakongawa Water Park have bloomed, but the Someiyoshinos have not. Therefore, visitors might be able to enjoy seeing the blossoms by the next week.

March 21st of 2023, Someiyoshino Sakura blossoms blooming in the southern part of Edogawaku could bloom a week later than the central part of Tokyo every year. So the sakura blossoms in Shinodabori Water Park have been blooming less than that in the central part.

Every year, Somei Yoshino Sakura Blossoms could start blooming when the Shidare Sakura would fully bloom, so it is looking forward to seeing them in this weekend.

In March 3rd of 2023, spring actually comes in this cold day. Ookanzakura blossoms, standing at the north end of Giboshibashi Bridge along Shinkawa River near by Ukitabashi bridge on Funabori Kaido, started blooming under the blue sky.
Mar 1 2023, Shuzenji Kanzakura along Furukawa Water Park started blooming.
In March 1st of 2023, it was as warm day as it in April. And Shuzenji Kanzakura in Furukawa Water Park started blooming under the cloudy sky. It was little bit first as every year. It might be first that Somei Yoshino Sakura Blossoms would start blooming in this year.
Feb 26 2023, Fully Bloomed Kawazu Sakura in Chisenin During Nakayama Hina Festival
In Febraury 26th of 2023, Kawazu Sakura Blossoms in Chisenin Temple, standing left side of Akamon (the Red Gate) of Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, have fully bloomed during Nakayama no Ohina Matsuri (Nakayama Hina Festival). And a big ume tree named Choju Ume (long life ume) in Onjuin Temple, standing along the approach road of Hokekyoji Temple, have some small white blossoms on its branches. Next weekend, the ume blossoms would fully bloomed.
Feb 22 2023, Ume Blossoms have started blooming in Ukita Higashi Park.
In Febraury 22nd of 2023, some ume trees in Ukita Higashi Koen Park have some their white blossoms on their tips of branches. In a few weeks later, thousands of blossoms blooms and visitors could feel sweet smells from the ume blossoms.
Feb 20th 2023, Kawazu Sakura have started blooming along Kyutonegawa River.
In Febraury 20th of 2023, I saw some tiny pink blossoms blooming on some branches of Kawazu Sakura trees along Kyutonegawa River flowing on between Kameido and Hirai Station of JR Sobu Line. Therefore, I could not take any pictures on the train.
Feb 18th 2023, Kawazu Sakura have started blooming in Chisenin Temple in Nakayama
In Febraury 18th of 2023, Nakayama Hina Festival has started, and hina dalls had set on the center of the red gate (Akamon) in Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple. And a Kawazu Sakura tree in Chisenin Temple standing left side of the gate has some beautiful pink blossoms. It would be enjoyable seeing this tree on next weekend.
Feb 16th 2023, Kawazu Sakura have started blooming in Sakongawa Water Park
In Febraury 16th 2023, ２月16日、along Sakongawa Water Park where on between Edogawa River and Shinsakongawa Water Park, a small Kawazu Sakura cherry tree have some tiny pink blossoms on its branches under the blue sky. It looks week since it has some green leaves.

February 15th, Kawazu Sakura Blossoms along Shinkawa River have started blooming. It was very cold day today, and it was cloudy in morning. Even though, Kawazu Sakura began blooming in such a cold day. There must be some Kawazu Sakura blossoms have bloomed in Ichikawashi and Edogaweaku.
