The Blooming Cherry Blossoms in 2026 in Ichikawa and Edogawa

Spring in 2026 is coming. Some kind of cherry trees blooming in some noted spots in Ichikawashi and Edogawaku. This page presents some information of the blooming cherry blossoms in the landmarks such as Nakayama Hokekyoji, Mamagawa River, Mamasan, Shinkawa River, Komatsugawa Senbon Sakura Park. Both Ichikawa and Edogawa have many noted spots for viewing sakura blossoms, there are some kinds of cherry trees in the spots. Kawazu Sakura and Higan Sakura bloom earlier than Somei Yoshino. The information on this page would be updated day by day. Please check them and go to see the sakuras.

April 6th of 2026 Yaesakura Blossoms in Chisenin have started blooming.

April 6th, a Yaesakura blossoms in Chisenin Temple standing by the niomon gate of Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple have started blooming. The blossoms tell that the end of sakura season in Ichikawashi would come soon.

April 3rd, Most Someiyoshino Sakura trees in Edogawaku and Ichikawashi have millions of blossoms on their branches. The sakura trees by Shinozaki Water Gate, in Shinodabori Water Park, in Furukawa Water Park, in Myoshoji Temple, in Komatsugawa Senbon Sakura Park, along Kyunakagawa River and Hokekyoji Temple have fully bloomed and some have leaves on them. However, the trees along Shinkawa River, especially, on the north bank, have some buds on their branches, so visitor would be enjoy to see them next week.

March 29th of 2026 Someiyoshino Sakura have not had many blossoms on them yet.

March 29th, Someiyoshino Sakura trees in Ichikawashi have not had many blossoms on them yet. The trees in Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, Myoshoji Temple, around Ichikawa Higashi Highschool, in Kozato Park, along Oogashiwa and Mama River have some blossoms, but they are not fully blooming. Then, visitors could enjoy in this week. Anyway, an Antique Market will be held at Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple from April 15 to 18. And every Sunday, visitors could watch a painting of a Dragon and Sakura blossoms on the ceiling in its main hall of Myoshoji Temple.

March 27th of 2026 Someiyoshino Sakura in Edogawaku have not much bloomed yet.

March 27th, Someiyoshino Sakura trees in Edogawaku have not had many blossoms in their branches yet. The Sakura blossoms along Shinkawa River, in Furukawa Water Park, in Ichinoe Sakaigawa Water Park, in Komatsugawa Senbon Sakura Park, and along Kyunakagawa River have not much bloomed yet. In next week, visitors could enjoy seeing them there.

March 24th of 2026 Someiyoshino Sakura trees in Edogawaku have a few blossoms.

February 13th, Nakayama Hina Festival has beguan. Today, the 3 sets of Hina Dalls are decorated in JR Sobu-Line Shimousa Nakayama Station. You could enjoy the hina salls with Kawazu Sakura blossoms. in Chisenin, Hokekyoji, Ume blossoms in Onjuin and Okunoin.

February 2nd, Kawazu Sakura blossoms on the bank of Edogawa River by Ichikawa Mimani started blooming. A half of trees have a few blossoms on them. It was very surprised at them, since it is almost two weeks earlier than the last year.

Last year, Kawazu Sakura Blossoms in Chisenin Temple started blooming in Febraury 17th. And February 15th in 2023, Kawazu Sakura blossoms along Shinkawa River started. What about in this year? It is very looking foward to the flowering. Anyway, Kawazu Sakura along Shinakwa River would start blooming in the end of next week. It could start earlier than it in last year. Of course, the flowering day could be on this web site. Please wait for a week or so.
