The Observatory on Tower Hall Funabori
Standing at the platforms in Funabori Station of Toei Shijuku Line, you
could see a tall white tower in front of you. It is the Observatory on
Tower Hall Funabori. The hall was designed as a ferryboat for the citizens
in
Edogawaku and the observatory looks like the mast of the ferryboat. From the 115
meters tall observatory, visitors could see not only Skyscrapers of
Tokyo but also Boso Peninsula and Kanto Plain, and they could also see
Mt. Fuji beautifully in fine days. It is an especially beautiful view that Mt.
Fuji is standing on the left side of Tokyo Tower in the evening. The night

of head lights on cars are moving on the highway running along Arakawa
River in front of scattered lights of Skyscrapers of Tokyo. The observatory
