Seeing Canola Flowers On the Banks of Edogawa River
Since there are some seasonal flowers blooming on the banks and flood basins
of
Edogawa River in every four seasons, visitors could feel comfortable for seeing them.
In spring, about 2 kilometers long of the east banks of Edogawa River near
the ferry at Yagiri on between Yanagihara Sub-water gate and Katsushikabashi Bridge are covered
with small yellow flowers of canola (or rape), so it looks like the yellow
wall. Moreover, canola flowers or rape flowers bloom on the west bank of
the river, too.

Yellow canola flowers decorate on the east bank of Edogawa River from
