Fudosan Yofukuin Temple is the 8th temple of the 33 Pilgrimage in Gyotoku
and Urayasu, and it belongs to Shingon sect in Buddhism. Yofukuin Temple
is moved since Edogawa Drainage Channel was dug and the Great Earth Quake
in Kanto broke down it. Fudosan Yofukuin Temple is a very small temple
stands in a quiet residential quarter near Edogawa River.
Fudosan Yofukuin Temple belonging to Buzanha in Shingon Sect was built in 1550 by Jukai Hoin. And Yofukuin Temple was moved in early Taisho era (1912 - 1926) because of the construction of Edogawa Drainage Channel and the main hall was broken down by the Great Earthquake in Kanto in September 1st in 1923. But there are no records when it was moved, and it was as the similar ages to Kasuga Jinja Shrine was. The main hall was rebuilt in 2008 and the statue of Fudo dedicated in it is said to have the divine protection from fires.

Though the site of Fudosan Yofukuin Temple is very small, there are some stone statues, Jizoson, Fudoson and Dosojins of Mizaru, Iwazaru and Kikazaru (the 3 monkeys prohibiting seeing, hearing and talking) in it.

Fudosan Yofukuin Temple has a great accessibility from both Narita and
Haneda International Airport.
From Narita International Airport, take JR Sobu-express line, transfer
the line at Nishi-funabashi to Tozai line of Tokyo Metro bound to Nakano
or Mitaka, get off Myoden Sta. And also take Keisei-line, transfer the
line at Funabashi to Sobu-Local line, and transfer the line at Nishi-funabashi
to Tozai line of Tokyo Metro bound to Nakano or Mitaka, get off Myoden
Sta. It takes minimally 60 minutes from Narita Airport.
From Haneda International Airport, take Keikyu-line bound to Narita, transfer
the line at Nihonbashi to Tozai line of Tokyo Metro bound to Nishifunabashi,
Tsudanuma or Katsutadai, get off Myoden Sta.
From Tokyo (Otemachi) Sta, take Tozai line of Tokyo Metro bound to Nishi-funabashi,
Tsudanuma or Katsutadai, get off Myoden Sta.
From Akihabara Sta, take Sobu line bound to Chiba, Tsudanuma or Nishi Funabashi,
transfer the line at Nishifunabashi to Tozai line of Tokyo Metro, get off
Myoden Sta.
* The location of the sixth temple is unknown, and the 16th and 17th are
integrated, and the 18th is brought into the 19th temple.
